In the unlikely event of you experiencing any defect with your shower enclosure, we guarantee, subject to the following conditions, that we will replace or repair the defect part.
CONDITIONS FOR GUARANTEE
It is essential the fitting instructions have been followed correctly. The lifetime guarantee covers all Manhattan shower enclosures against manufacturing defects. Any claim under the guarantee must be made to us, in writing, immediately, and must be accompanied by the proof of purchase showing the date and place of purchase.
Each enclosure is supplied with a label attached to the door glass. This label contains important product identification details that are required when making a claim. Product replacement and / or repair can only be undertaken if all product identification details are provided on the guarantee card - we reserve the right to charge a minimal postage fee for spare part replacement.
If the attached guarantee card is returned incomplete we reserve the right to charge a combined spare part replacement fee and postage fee.
We reserve the right to inspect the product before removal or repair. We must be provided with those facilities we reasonably require to carry out a proper inspection. A small charge may be incurred if the claim is not justified following the Representatives inspection.
If replacement of product or a repair is necessary we reserve the right to replace the product using our own technicians.
Both the inspection and any consequent work will be provided free of charge providing the fault is a genuine manufacturer's defect. Please note that in most cases, shower enclosures are installed onto a tiled wall. Should any work require the replacement of wall channels, we cannot be held responsible for the security of, and any damage to, the tiles. The quality of adhesive and the method used to affix tiles to walls will have a bearing on whether wall channels can be successfully removed without damage to tiles. Tile damage is regarded as consequential and is not covered by the guarantee.
THE PRODUCT MUST BE INSPECTED BEFORE INSTALLATION BY YOU FOR VISUAL DEFECTS. CLAIMS FOR RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR VISUAL DEFECTS IF FOUND AFTER INSTALLATION.
This guarantee covers products supplied for installation in the United Kingdom and Eire only.
In the interest of continuing design development and product improvement we reserve the right to amend or adjust specification at any time. Where an identical product is no longer available, we will supply the nearest equivalent from our current range.
THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT EXTEND TO
Any item or component rendered defective by unsatisfactory planning, faulty installation, improper or negligible use.
Easi Clean glass coating
Damage resulting from failure to maintain the product in accordance with the customer care instructions issued.
Accidental damage after purchase, normal wear and tear, use for other than normal domestic purposes, colour changes due to smoke or other environmental factors.
The replacement of any other household fitting or furniture arising from any claim.
Products sold outside the United Kingdom and Eire.
This guarantee is not transferable.
Due to duty of care plastic seals and damper stops have only 12 months guarantee
Glass breakage and any consequential damage and/or cost. Glass by its very nature can shatter. All glass used by Manhattan Showers Ltd. conforms to EN12150-1 where applicable.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Shower Doors / Screens should always be cleaned immediately after use. The film of insoluble soap products, body fats and grime which will otherwise harden is easily removed by prompt action at this stage. In hard water areas lime salts will deposit and if left to build up will become increasingly unsightly and may affect the running mechanisms and pivots at a later date. Periodic maintenance of your door should include a thorough cleaning of all areas with warm soapy water only and wiped dry. A non caustic based cleaning agent must be used when cleaning this product. In hard water areas prior use of a domestic lime scale remover may be incorporated followed by the cleansing as recommended above. Simply wiping down the glass after each shower will save a lot of effort in removing lime scale deposits later on.
